How To Help Your Music Students Let Go Of Excess Tension
Music Teachers:
Do your students use too much muscular tension when they play?
This tension often leads to poor sound quality and stiff performances.
You can tell them to relax, but oftentimes they just tense up again when they start playing.
What do you do when "just relax" just isn't enough?

In response to this problem I've come up with several techniques that music teachers can use to help their students let go of tension, even during difficult passages.
By the end of this workshop, music teachers will:
- Understand the surprising truths about tension and relaxation
- Have practical tools to help their students relax while playing, so that their students can play more freely and enjoy music more
- Have the tools to help themselves relax while playing, so that they can play more freely, be more empowered to help their students with tension, and prevent injuries to their own muscles
