Announcing The First Ever Pain-Free Music Live Workshop! “How To Practice So That Your Body Feels Be
Do your arms, hands, or back hurt after you practice?
Does pain or discomfort in your body limit the amount or intensity of your practice sessions?
Are you worried you might not be able to practice enough because of the pain?
Over my years of studying the Alexander Technique I’ve learned that this pain is caused by our unconscious habits of holding too much tension in our muscles when we play music.
Practicing causes a lot of musicians pain because not only do we hold this excess tension while we play, but we hold it for long periods of time, and with great intensity and repetition. This is a perfect recipe for repetitive strain injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome or back pain.
Is there a way of practicing that, far from causing pain, actually makes your body feel BETTER after a practice session?
The answer turns out to be a resounding “Yes!”, and this is what we will focus on in my upcoming workshop.
-------
In this Pain-Free Music Workshop you will learn:
How to practice so that your body feels BETTER afterwards
How to “relax up” without losing your ability to play fast or loud
How to use your whole body so playing music feels effortless and comfortable
A single thought that relieves stress without losing focus
All attendees will get personalized attention and feedback from Alexander Technique expert and founder of Pain-Free Music, Joseph Arnold.
By the end of this workshop you will have the tools to transform your practice sessions from an experience of strain and struggle into one of freedom, ease, and effortless mastery.
